We are delighted to announce that our nursery has been rated "good" by Ofsted. This is a fantastic achievement and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the staff at our nursery, after only 19 months since opening! 

Ofsted inspectors were particularly impressed with the warm and friendly welcome at our nursery. They saw staff greeting children by name and helping them to settle in, and they noticed that the children were happy and engaged in their activities. Inspectors also noted how well children behave in our nursery and how our practitioner’s model respectful behaviour. 

Finally, inspectors were encouraged with the way that all children, including those children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), progress well at our nursery, how passionate leaders are about children’s outcomes, and how our practitioners skilfully organise activities across the curriculum which spark children's curiosity and engage them in meaningful learning. 
In response to the recommendation from Ofsted that practitioners aren't consistently using the range of effective strategies and resources available to support children who speak English as an additional language, we have taken the following steps: 

  • We have trained staff on the use of effective strategies for supporting children with English as an additional language.
 
  •  We have created a resource library of books, games, and other materials in a variety of languages. 

These changes will help us to better support all children, regardless of their language background. 

We are committed to providing a high-quality education for all children, and we will continue to work hard to ensure that all children feel safe, secure, and supported at our nursery.
